Reviewer Guidelines

Reviewers are expected to evaluate submitted manuscripts thoroughly, fairly, and objectively. The following aspects should be considered when reviewing articles submitted to the Journal Gorontalo Economic Review:

1. Presentation

  1. The paper should present a cohesive and logical argument
  2. The idea paper and the thought line are clearly conveyed

2. Writing Quality

  1. The title is accurate and reflects the content
  2. The script is simple, well-structured, and easy to follow

3. Length and Structure

  1. Manuscript needs to be expanded and shortened
  2. There must be a summarized, merged, or deleted section

4. Title

  1. The title is concise and clear, avoiding unnecessary abbreviations
  2. The paper should reflect the main findings or conclusions of the paper

5. Abstract

The abstract clearly summarizes the following elements

  1. Background
  2. Purpose
  3. Method
  4. Result
  5. Conclusion

6. Introduction

  1. A clear explanation of the research background
  2. Current circumstances and relevant studies to support novelty
  3. Analysis of gaps or justifications for research
  4. Research hypothesis or problem statement (optional)
  5. Research approaches to solving problems
  6. A clear statement of research objectives

7. Method

  1. Clear and replicable research methods
  2. Descriptions beyond the detailed definition of how the research was conducted
  3. Description of the research location, participants, instruments, and data analysis

8. Results and Discussion

  1. Processed data presented in the form of tables or figures, supported by explanations
  2. Findings related to research objectives or questions
  3. Comparison with previous research (agreement or contradiction)
  4. Scientific interpretation of the findings
  5. The implications of the study are clearly explained
  6. Stated limitations or weaknesses of the research
  7. Suggestions for further research or exploration of ideas

9. Conclusion

  1. Answer the research objectives clearly
  2. Includes implications or recommendations (optional)
  3. Written in paragraph form (not bullet points or numbering)
