Guidelines for Drafting
Types of Papers
Original Article: This includes population-based surveys, program evaluations, impact assessment studies, randomized controlled trials, intervention studies, screening and diagnostic trial studies, outcome studies, cost-effectiveness analysis, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, and case-control studies.
Original articles should be organized under the following headings: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review (optional), Research Methods, Results and Discussion, References, Tables, and Image Captions.
Review Articles: This article is generally written at the invitation of individuals who have expertise in their field. However, unsolicited review articles will be considered based on their quality. A brief summary of the author's work or area of expertise should be included in the post.
Brief Research Article: This article is a concise original report or viewpoint on current topics in the field of education and social sciences. With a maximum of 6 authors.
General Admission Criteria
This manuscript contributes to the development of scientific knowledge.
Apply a good methodology and provide enough detail to be reproducible.
Conclusions are based on reliable data.
It's short, clearly written, and easy to understand.
Manuscript Format
The manuscript must be uploaded to the journal system and must consist of Title, Author, Address and Email, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review (Optional), Research and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (Optional), and References.
Heading
The title of the article should be written concisely and clearly, and accurately reflect the main content of the manuscript. [Use Camria font, size 14 pt, bold, single space, and paragraph settings: Before: 12 pt and After: 12 pt. Titles should not be capitalized at all and should avoid the use of abbreviations or acronyms that are uncommon.]
Authors
The manuscript contains the names of the lead author and co-authors with the full names of the authors and co-authors (without abbreviations), lists affiliations, and only one email for correspondence.
Abstract
The abstract must be written in two languages: Indonesian and English, using Cambria letters of 10 pt, single spaces, and paragraph settings: Before 0 pt, After 0 pt. The length of the abstract should be between 150 and 200 words. Both abstract versions must be filled in, including for articles written in English. Indonesian abstracts must be written in formal language in accordance with the standard Indonesian spelling rules. The use of citations, abbreviations, and mathematical formulas in the abstract should be avoided. The abstract should present the background, objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions of the research in a concise manner.
Keywords
Immediately after the abstract, include a list of 3 to 5 keywords or phrases that represent the core topic of your article. Keywords should be written in English, arranged alphabetically, and separated by commas. Avoid using general, plural, or compound terms (such as "and", "from", etc.). Use only general abbreviations if necessary. The selected keywords will be used for indexing purposes and to increase the visibility of articles in academic databases.
Introduction
The introduction should be structured systematically and include the following components: general background, the formulation of the problem or hypothesis (if any), and the purpose of the article. The previous literature review (state of the art), which is the basis for establishing the novelty of an article, can be integrated in the Introduction or presented in a separate subsection entitled Literature Review. Authors are given the flexibility to choose the format that best suits their research approach and scientific presentation. Citations in the manuscript must follow the 7th edition of the APA body-note style, for example: (Lomagio et al., 2021), (Fitri & Ishak, 2025; Nurjana, 2015; Rapika, 2020). All references cited should be listed in the references section and are recommended to be managed using reference management software such as Mendeley. The Introduction section should be written in Cambria letters, size 12 pt, single spaces (Before: 0 pt, After: 0 pt, Line Spacing: Single), and right and left aligned alignment.
Literature Review (Optional)
This section presents a discussion of theories, concepts, and findings of previous research that are relevant to the topic being researched. Authors may choose to present the literature review as a separate section or integrate it into the Introduction. The cited literature must be current, relevant, and critically analyzed to strengthen the scientific argument and support the article's novelty claims. This section should be written using Cambria font, size 12 pt, with single spacing (Before: 0 pt, After: 0 pt, Line Spacing: Single), and right-left flush alignment.
Research and Method
This section should describe the research methods used to address the problem, including its analytical approach. Describe the process systematically and clearly to allow for reproducibility. Only the main tools for analysis or characterization need to be listed; general things can be omitted. The author must mention the location of the study, the details of the respondents (if any), and the techniques of data collection and analysis. Commonly used methods should be cited, rather than fully explained. Write the procedure using declarative sentences. The image must include a caption below the image. Use Cambria, 12 pt, single space, Before: 0 pt, After: 0 pt, and align right and left flattening.
Results and Discussions
This section presents the findings of his research and scientific interpretation in a clear and structured manner. The data must be processed and explained logically, supported by relevant literature, and must answer the research question or hypothesis. Authors are encouraged to compare their findings with previous research to highlight the article's contributions. Avoid presenting raw data; Focus on meaningful analysis.
Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English, maximum 20 pages, using A4 size paper, 3 cm margins on all sides, Cambria 12 pt, single spaces (Before: 0 pt, After: 0 pt), and right-left alignment. Foreign terms in the Indonesian script must be italicized. Tables and figures should appear immediately after they are mentioned in the text, not at the end. The title of the table is placed at the top, and the caption of the image is below. Don't use vertical lines in a table.
The mathematical formula should be placed on a separate line, followed by a brief explanation. Direct citations should be enclosed in quotation marks and include citations. Long citations (more than 40 words) should be overhanging and written without quotation marks.
Conclusions
The conclusion serves to summarize concisely and clearly the main findings of the research that directly answer the questions, objectives, or research hypotheses that have been described earlier. This section is not intended to repeat the entire discussion, but rather to highlight the core scientific contributions made from the research process. The authors are expected to formulate conclusions in a concise yet comprehensive manner, reflecting the main contributions of the research. If needed, the final part of the conclusion may include practical implications, recommendations for scientific development, or suggestions for further research related to the topic or idea raised in the article.
Acknowledgment (Optional)
This section is intended to convey appreciation to those who have contributed to the conduct of the research, such as financial support from institutions, technical assistance, or other forms of support from individuals or organizations. Acknowledgments are optional and should be placed before the bibliography section.
References
All sources cited in the body of the manuscript must be listed in full in the references section. The reference list should mainly consist of primary sources, such as scientific journal articles, with a proportion of at least 80% of the total references. In addition, the cited sources are recommended to be relevant and published within the last ten (10) years to ensure scientific novelty and relevance of the research. Each manuscript must include at least 35 references. Both in-text citations and reference lists should be formatted consistently using the 7th edition of the APA (American Psychological Association) reference style. To facilitate citation and reference management, authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or Reference Manager.
